Outside at least

I saw a raft of eider ducks off the shore, and the males were 'singing' and throwing back their heads - courtship behaviour - and in bright plumage. Spring must be on the way. Hand held in low light meant a narrow depth of field and not very sharp. Will come back each day until I get one. It was good to be out at least listening and seeing the different birds. There were some dunlin too, but they were still in winter plumage.

I liked the melancholy of the rocks.
