Personification

This reminded me of the man making a total mess of being President of my country.

I'm very grateful to be living about as far away from Washington, D.C., as is possible in the continental United States -- in the northwest corner of "the other" Washington.

And I'm very grateful that on January 3, 102 women -- most of them Democrats -- were sworn in as members of the House of Representatives, one of the two chambers of the United States Congress. (The Republicans still hold a majority in the Senate.)

It's going to be a very interesting year.
