Training begins

Now I’ve signed up for a half marathon I decided it was probably time I started upping my distances so I started the day with a (slow) 12k. This meant I got to have a nose about this old house that is remotely situated 6km up an old farm track - was a little disappointed, although not surprised, to find it empty.

I rewarded my efforts with a final holiday blow out in West Linton - dinner in the Bakehouse and then (a lot of) drinks in The Gordon where we’d bumped into friends.
