Carskey Bay, Very Low Cloud

9.6C with very low cloud or mist. Some smir. Light ESE/E breeze.

Grocery shopping.

The early low cloud appeared to be clearing round town and over Campbeltown loch so we drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. On the way South the cloud got lower again and at Carskey it was right down on the headlands. No seals on the rocks at Kiel today. Tide low. Calm sea with small waves lazily breaking close to the shore.

We walked along to the far end and back.
The wet sand and stones were very difficult to walk on. No firm footing.
Fergus was off his lead did some running about and extensive exploring because it took us so long to make our way along the beach.

Later Apothecary7 was painting banging about under the guise of tidying her studio.
BBC Radio 2 was on in the background, with Tom Robinson sitting in for Johnnie Walker.
