Bay of Ireland

I knew that the tide would be low around lunchtime so headed along to Brig o' Waithe in search of otters. No luck today, unfortunately. About four common seals were splashing about and making me think 'otter'! Birds included Slavonian grebes, red-breasted mergansers, etc. This bay's name probably has nothing to do with Ireland but is a corruption of the Norse name 'Erlend'.
