Patterns

A short but really heavy fall of snow this morning, causing chaos on the roads coming down from Park City. Fortunately we got through OK, but K and M who were 15 mins behind us, chose to stop in a supermarket carpark for 3 hours till the worst was over. Cars and trucks sliding everywhere, absolute carnage apparently. But they eventually got home safe. The roads get cleared pretty quickly here, and the temperatures rose rapidly as the snow stopped. Very soon this wintery scene of fresh snow blanketing everything was gone, the magic over.
