Monomonday 259.... a new beginning

When I googled the connection between Bread and “a new beginning “ there were many references to religious groups. The staff of life, breaking of bread etc....

However, I would like to think that these warm, fresh from the rustic wood fired oven, hand made, preservative free, sourdough loaves will be the beginning of someone’s delicious breakfast, spread with fresh unadulterated honey, or avocado or whatever. To give them a wonderful beginning to the day on the beginning day of the week!

We bought the fruit loaf as well! It weighs about half a kilo it’s so full of fruit! The car smelled divine. The middle munchkins had never seen bread made as it has been made for centuries. A delicious education ;-))
