Used Christmas Trees

I thought it looked better in monochrome as from a first glance it appears to be a sad sight. This is very common at the moment. Laying next to almost every bin are used Christmas trees. I originally thought this was lazy owners not taking them to a green bin but the council have instructed residents to leave them by communal bins and they will be collected to be recycled on one of 3 dates in January. The next day is the 16th so this tree will be here for over a week. Since the trees are recycled, its not a sad sight after all. They will be made into compost.
