Corfe Castle, Church of King Edward the Martyr

Corfe Castle's church is difficult to photograph adequately - unless you have a high ladder to use for a better viewpoint.  This photo is taken from West Street, and shows the late 14th century tower, the oldest surviving part of the church.

Last week I was intrigued by the striking blue and gold flag (as shown on inset) flying on the top of the tower - was it King Edward's flag?  On looking further it had to be: the door of the tower is painted blue, and the tower clock is painted in blue and gold.
