A Mono Monday Moose

I try not to buy anything from people who are from Ohio (not really), but I do like this guy who does newspaper-fired ceramics. I have this moose in my Michigan den, and I also have a pelican in our Florida bedroom.

The theme of today's Mono Monday challenge is beginnings. I'd like to say this is the start of my moose collection, but it is not. I have got rid of a few, but I still have many examples of the largest deer.
