Hard discs

A bit of computing history, prompted by the new solid state drive that I just opened.  The big drive on the left came from a 286 machine, bought in the 1980s (pre-Windows) and holds 40 MB, which we thought was a lot at the time. The two shiny drives are 1000 GB and 750 GB. The tiny new drive is 240 GB, and so is the SanDisk SSD, but much bigger sizes are available in the same form factor if you are willing to pay.
