Jolly Good Fun

With a weekend away planned, we thought it'd be a good idea to put the decorations up a little earlier than usual. Miss A was in full agreement and up I went to the attic to get the usual boxes of goodies.

Boxes down, I then got distracted making the kids' lunch. When I returned to the living room it looked like a Christmas bomb had just gone off, with decorations strewn everywhere and fairy lights in a complicated mess. Hey ho, ho, ho. Nothing was broken and the lights, well they were all untangled by the end of the day. Miss A hung the first decoration on the tree and Little D promptly kissed it. Then tried to pull it off. The stereo was blasting out Christmas songs as we continued to decorate the room. The kids loved it, we loved it and it now feels very much like Christmas is coming. Bring it on!
