Never too early to Sing

My first, but probably not my last Robin blip of 2019. I was limited for choice today as I has a meeting at Longshaw The the feeders hadn't been filled, so there wasn't the usual plethora of Tits, Finches and Nuthatches so I got out during the coffee break where this Robin was happy to pose mid-song. He is ringed, as are many of the birds around the hub area - we have a ringer who works with the monitoring team on site. Robins will sing all year round, probably to defend their territory, which they do fiercely. An early blip today, as we are off to the theatre tonight.
