it's going to be big and shiny

A day off to look after the boys. Faffing and house work in the morning. In the afternoon we embarked on the long trek to the far North to check out the Messages from the Skies projected onto Custom House and Leith Library. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and we walked along St Leonard's Crags. I had another look at the growing lift shaft. Presumably this will be the Golden Turd. It's going to be huge, shiny and quite dominating. We shall see when it is done but I have my suspicions. Onward, past the Parliament, up Abbey Hill and down Easter Road. I really like Easter Road and miss living down there. Then short visit to Harburn Hobbies. Eventually, we make it down to the Shore just about in time to see the first show of the Message from the Skies projected on Custom House (see extra). Again, a very moving text. We then wandered on to Leith Library to see the penultimate Message. Some other people were gathered there.
