My topsy-turvy life

Not so happy chappy

Owen seemed a little subdued this morning as we were all getting ready for work/school/mumming. I didn't really think too much about it to be honest and just put it down to him being a bit tired after a bit of a restless night.

I got a phone call from Louisa around coffee time to say he had really struggled with his last couple of feeds and that maybe we should think about going back up to Manchester a touch earlier than planned. The message saying that he'd choked on his saliva made that decision for us. So I emailed his surgeon and, after a bite to eat, we headed on up. Better to do that than potentially get stuck at Telford waiting for a blue light transfer again.

Going through A&E was actually fairly painless and within a couple of hours we were bedded in on ward 76 with consent forms signed for dilatation #9 either tomorrow or Thursday.
