HAPPY DAYS

The girls didn't make it to the beach damnation and no coaxing from MrD or myself could persuade Scarlett that the beach was a good idea.  Crocodile tears ensued.
The boys went on there own and had fun.
We did manage a trip to the river mid afternoon and she enjoyed it.
I thought an architectural blip for today's challenge would be out of the question until the Stirling Bridge popped up and in the foreground was MrD chasing the hat that had blown off Angus.
Stirling Bridge was opened in 1974 and is still looking fairly new.  It is constantly pounded by heavily laden trucks heading to the harbour.  At the end of the bridge, on the wall underneath, is a piece of street art of Bon Scott (born in Scotland), former lead singer of AC/DC.  Some of you may be interested in the band and their music - not me.
The extra is a pelican flying 30cm above the river.  So graceful and effortless.  Scarlett and I enjoyed watching him.

Thank you to Freyjad for hosting Wide Wednesday.

Thank you for calling by to see the cicada.
