Seelye

Part of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

The little settlement of Guadalupe, Arizona was established by the Yaqui Indians in 1900.  They fled Sonora, Mexico and found solace here.  It is still inhabited by the Yaqui and also many Mexican's.  It takes up a square mile and is beautifully rustic.  I find myself very drawn to it and would like to find a volunteer opportunity there.

The extra is a beautifully weathered bench that I just loved.
