Scrappy squares

I finally finished sewing in all the ends on my corner to corner, join as you go crochet blanket. There were 64 squares, so possibly 128 ends. It was difficult to hide them as I went along but I probably should have been more disciplined in sewing them in as I made it.

Not sure what I'm going to do with this one. It was great for using up little bits of yarn from previous projects. It is a lap sized blanket.

Went out for a walk with friends at lunchtime and caught up with what's been happening in their lives since before Christmas. We all seem to be caught up in the aging parent/still needy offspring trap.
