Sunset and the end of our trip

We said goodbye to the group today. What a fantastic bunch of people. It was great getting to know them all and having lots of laughs along the way. Hopefully we’ll be able to meet up with at least some in the UK.
Today, we spent the day in Colombo with those of us who had later flights, popping into some shops and stopping for tea and then lunch at the Galle Face hotel (very pleasant).
After saying goodbye to the final few, we set off for a meal at a lovely restaurant on the coast.
We’re about to head off to the airport.
It’s been an incredible trip, wonderful scenery, amazing wildlife, fun activities and great company. Fantastic. The picture is the view of sunset from our room.
