New carpets!

Today, half of the house has been carpeted. Its such an amazing difference after living with old threadbare carpets and floorboards for 5 years. The house is a lot quieter and cosier. Tomorrow more carpets will be laid. I'm sure Gorgeous and I should be due a celebratory curry sometime soon! 

I took a trip out to Stromness before lunch to check and feed the horses. Whilst there, the light over Hoy gave me a beautiful display.
