A cold start to the day

It was a very cold morning as I left the house just before sunrise.  I was delighted to see some ice and frost around and took this photo looking upstream with the rising sun behind me.  The shot in the other direction was a bit too sombre for me.

Then it was off to the gym for two classes, back home for lunch and out to Sidmouth with my husband.  A busy sunny but cold day.
