Zwarbtles

One of those things you pass most days and then one day you really notice it.
Orton has a fabulous green area in the middle of the village. Sure lots of villages have a green, but we don't. We've a park, a sports field and then the reserve. Gifted by the current owners of Petty Hall it's an odd but much loved space. There's no direct access, but as it's only a few hundred meters long and wide it's a very viewable little oasis. Occasionally it's 'managed' by a few cattle or sheep. These ladies have been there for a while now.
And they seem to be a relatively rare breed, if they are indeed Zwarbtles. Originally from the Netherlands (where they are now listed as critical) the first were imported to the UK in the 1990's. These ones are clearly very chilled as they let man and puppy walk right up to the other side of the wall. I'm confident they've no idea what à blip is.
