mending my jumper on the train

My handbag ate a hole in my favourite jumper! A lovely friend knitted me a patch and I mended it on the train so I could wear it this evening. The naughty bag got sent to a leather-worker to add a flap to it so it eats no more - a hunger flap perhaps?
