Red dead-nettle

As it is indeed Flower friday I decided to photograph this little Red dead nettle plant Lamium purpureum, which has been flowering all winter in my garden.
It is found throughout the UK, and can be found almost anywhere, and flowers from February to November (and it would seem in between!)
According to Plant Life ' The generic name is from the Greek Lamia which means 'devouring monster' and refers to the flower which has the appearance of open jaws.  The vernacular name 'Archangel' may refer to the fact they are non-stinging'
