Buckland Newton

A visit to the optician’s this morning which turned out to be costly as I needed new lenses with stronger prisms - after just two years !
Lunch in Sherborne to recover from the cost then we managed a walk around Buckland Newton which I found in a walk book I’d forgotten I had . It started near The Gaggle of Geese pub and followed footpaths and green lanes around the surrounding hills.
