Happy Christmas!!

I know all the decs are down and we're all on diets and doing dry January...

Actually, none of those are true for me- there are still snowflakes on the windows and 24 stockings on the advent calendar.

Our annual WI Christmas dinner at The Cellar Trust café was sadly cancelled last month after a fire in the roof space forced them to decamp. The café is part of a local charity supporting people with acute & chronic mental health issues. They do fantastic work, and a great Christmas Lunch. When the café closed we decided that rather than finding an alternative venue we would wait till they were back up and running and meet there for lunch in the new year. The café decided to have their Christmas menu this month instead, it was a festive feast worth waiting for!
