The wonder of feathers

These birds are so homely but have insanely gorgeous feathers, even viewed through our kitchen window glass with my long lens.


The extra is a prettier flyer, a winter robin nicely reflected, sipping from our heated birdbath. It's a popular stop today, with the icy cold temps outside.

For the Record,
This day came in absolutely frigid. I bet BB is glad to be safely home for the warmth of southern California. 

all hands improving, but feeling a bit low key and tired today.
