Contented sheep (and a horse, and red squirrel)

Up to the Common at lunchtime with MrM - he walked up through the woods to inspect his squirrel-monitoring cameras, while I walked round the path a couple of times and then headed for home. Took a while longer than intended as I spent about 20 minutes, er, chatting with a red squirrel (extra) while it posed for photos and ate its lunch. It finally disappeared up the tree when a large dog came bounding around the path.
The sheep and horse in the smallholding by the track looked a picture of contentment as I passed by.

Called in to see the JL, the artist, on my way back to the flat, to enquire about picture framing - we seem to have accumulated several prints and maps that would be better on the wall than lying around in the spare room.

Spent half an hour in the 'yard watering the plants - we've had had lots of grey, dull days but no rain to speak of during the last month or so, and none is forecast for the next week.
