Snowgirl Story

Once upon a time, there was a Snowgirl called Sophie. She was born on 6th February 2009, and her family dressed her in a lovely Thomas the Tank Engine scarf and gave her a pot lid for a hat. She had wooden spoons for arms and a carrot nose with lovely stones for eyes and a stick to button her coat.

However, her life was short (some may say she lived longer than she ought to!) She thrived for 8 days, even growing significantly. On the 9th day she took a turn for the worse and she slowly melted away over the next 2 days. Today is her last day, her clothes and accessories lie in a heap beside her on this gorgeous spring day.

RIP Sophie!!
