House guests

While Mr Mouses uncle is in hospital we are looking after his dogs.

Sadly they have some issues, not 100% house trained ... We are working on this

Very overweight ... We've spoken to diet nurse at the vets and changed their food

Cleaned them up, got their very much overgrown claws clipped and a plan to shorten them over time.

And we are discussing longer term. Personally I've said for a while that they should be rehomed. I was almost resigned to saying we would keep them here. However one of them bit Mr Mouse and so obviously we are very concerned. I will be talking to the vet again when he goes in for his check up next week (poorly paw) as could be a symptom of something else.

We are beginning to think he would fair better in a house were he is the only dog and someone can give him the time he deserves and continue the work we've already started.

Its so hard to know what to do for the best.

But i have said I'm happy to take on the other one full time as he seems to have settled well.

Obviously difficult discussions and decisions ahead.
