All that glitters

After 5 nights shooting and seemingly endless editing, captioning and keywording, this afternoon my holiday finally got going. I've a few days and now nights off work.
Went into town to see if we could get day tickets for Cabaret at the Savoy Theatre, apparently not. Bought the cheapest tickets available, way up in the grand circle as the prices were extortionate.

It's sarting to feel a little bit festive with all the lights around town, Carnaby Street looked impressive as the night drew in.

We had a spot of lunch, a mooch round the West End shops and a mince pie here and there and then Michal and I froze our asses off waiting for the Oslo Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Trafalgar Square. We were rewarded with an upgrade to the £85 seats, centre stalls for Cabaret! Celebrated with an overpriced cup of mulled wine., as one does..
The production itself was both fun and deeply moving, not often I get a roller coaster of emotions at the theatre, recommend you see the show if you get the chance.
