Perfect Theme

Well today’s theme for Mono Monday is absolutely spot-on. I took plenty of photos after the lovely birthday dinner, last night, at a local hotel, hosted by the celebrant G.

Vibrant Italian group of friends, so plenty of fun and animation. G works at the hotel, so the blip is of the staff appearing with the birthday cake, and making a fuss of her.

The plumber arrived at 08:30 to do a service on my water cylinder, so I was up early.

On bus heading to G’s hand specialist. More later.

Update: Specialist positive. Says Mr B can resume tennis. He was relatively happy won’t need any treatment. Relief all round.

(CRISPIN ARE YOU READING). Walked down the road, popped into Lidl, now trying coffee at Leo Café in the same arcade. Asked if they did Flat White - waitress said yes. Large cup of cappuccino arrived :(

Then home for a salad (put on 1 3/4 lb last night), and then off to meet a friend. The NatWest ATM didn’t spit out the cash, and she tried again. Now her statement has charged for both amounts. But no money received! I’ll sort it

14:30 Turned out the ATM wasn’t at Nat-West, but Nat-ionwide. (She said it was Nat......something). But the ATM had been installed by TSB and we were directed there. My friend (Italian) couldn’t understand why we needed to go to TSB, and kept insisting Nationwide deal with it .

Luckily TSB nearby. And they are returning the money to her account within 24 hours. So all’s well, that ends well.
