Everyone photographs the Beatles statue when they visit Liverpool and with very good reason but there are other statues on the Pier Head and this is a very fine one.A war hero who played a vital role during the Battle of the Atlantic.

This morning I gave the van a much needed clean inside and out while waiting for a delivery of pots from Germany.They arrived this evening.Helen has been potting Senettii and John called in this afternoon.Started sorting out the Kubota tractor ready to get it serviced.

Mild and a lot less windy with some nice long sunny spells.
