Hot springs

Lots of interesting images that I could have posted today (I will upload them to my website) but I choose this because it is highly unlikely that any of you will ever see this in person. I ended the day with a soak in this traditional men’s hot bath house in Ise-Shiwa. (There is another for ladies). Note the individual washing facilities around the walls. I had to think carefully about this shot a) to get the place empty and b) to avoid appearing naked in multiple images around the mirrored room, which would have shocked all of us. A wonderful soak and my best night’s sleep since I came here.
