Lunchtime Walk

When I worked at the Mining Museum, my lovely friend, Gill, and I used to try and get out for a walk at lunchtime as often as possible. Since moving to Chambers Street I hadn't managed it at all (I'd been out, just not purely for a walk's sake), until today. I did a loop around Lauriston Place and the Meadows. People tend to extol the virtues of Edinburgh - and I do appreciate its charms - but today I missed Nitten. And Gill.
