Red-tailed Hawk

A good day for wildlife photos.
Early this morning, on a walk by the canal, a nutria peeked out at me.
Later in the day a red-tailed hawk waited patiently while I stopped my bike to haul out my camera for a portrait.
A most enjoyable day for me.
