Sweet Chestnut

A clump of very old Sweet Chestnut trees in Crowsley Park, Oxfordshire, on a gloomy damp day. Since the second world war this has been the home satellite receiving station used by BBC monitoring. Its former owners were the Baskerville family  - Henry Baskerville and his fierce dogs were the inspiration for Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles.
