Early Grose

The days are very hot indeed, even here in the normally cool Blue Mountains. The early mornings, however are truly beautiful. It was a pleasant 20 degrees as I shot these pictures this morning at 6:15. A truly fresh start to a day upon which I make a fresh start to Blipfoto.

This is a glimpse into the Grose Valley precinct of the Blue Mountains National Park as seen from Evans Lookout, just down the road from my home. Some early mornings (even at this time of year) you can see a trail of mist following the Grose River as it winds its way through the valley floor forest.  I was all alone down there this morning. The air was totally still and the moment was quite magical. I have posted two extras.
