Colour blast

Doreen a little better today. Thank you for all your good wishes and kind thoughts. Still in bed and eating a little which is a good sign.

We managed a walk out this morning to the local garden centre mainly for the monthly free coffee but also took the opportunity to avail ourselves to 30% off bird food which I carried home in my rucksack. And, it provided today’s blip for both Wild Wednesday and Wide Wednesday and a great bit of colour for a drab day.

Susan successfully wore her boots to and from the garden centre without getting any blisters. Her previous experience with the new boots have always given her blisters. Filling the heal cup with an insole seems to have made the difference. A good job too as we’re going to the Dolomites in a couple of weeks time and those boots need to be good for walking all week in snow. (hopefully)
