Puffing Billy

We are enjoying the second of two scheduled days in Melbourne.  Today we drove up into the Dandenong Ranges outside of the city, and boarded an antique steam train named "Puffing Billy" (or, as one passenger referred to it, "Wheezing Willie!") for a lovely journey through the lush forests of eucalypts, fern trees, and gum trees with distant views of rolling farmland and lakes.  This narrow gauge railway was built in 1900 to service the local communities, carrying everything from passengers to timber, livestock, potatoes, and plants.  Because the train is of "a certain age" I thought a sepia treatment appropriate for today's shot.

Extra shows Billy getting a drink of water at the end of his run.
