It Never Rains in Southern California

That song by Albert Hammond went to #1 on the charts in 1972. However, we are just experiencing our 4th straight day of heavy rain. I guess the lyric “we get a lot of rain (sporadically) during the winter rainy season” is not very catchy. Probably not billboard material.
