Skövde

We took morning train to a town called Skövde to visit Volvo Group's diesel engine factory. They produce engines for buses, trucks, construction equipment and Volvo Penta. There is also automated casting and assembly lines had numerous robots. Everything was very impressive.

The entire engine plant has some 2,800 employees and the plant area equals the size of 50 football fields.

In the afternoon we drove to Gothenburg airport and flew via Helsinki to Tampere.
