Lombard Street

Commissioned by Hyatt in 1970 the famous Ruth Asawa fountain is covered with bronze sculptures of San Francisco landmarks, telling the visual story of the city in whimsical bas-relief scenes. Lombard Street is famous for its eight hairpin turns and steep gradient.

Extra is the ferry building on the Embarcadero.

Great day in the city today at a lunch and book talk by the author of Bad Blood, John Carreyrou.
