The Journey

I got my first DSLR in 2008 as a college graduation gift. I had to change the body in 2012 when it stopped working well but I only realized today that I have been using the same 18-55mm lens for the past 10 years! That was a nice reminder as to why one should invest in quality lenses.  

Today I received my new camera and birthday gift to myself and I am very excited to shoot with it. I am actually even more excited about my macro lens which should be arriving this week as well. 

My photography journey has been wonderful even though there have been periods of my life where it has fallen by the wayside. I am very grateful to have Blipfoto to help me to get back on track.
