PIECE OF CAKE

“Passing by” Betty’s this morning I spotted their centenary celebration cake, an absolute work of art.

The Montane Spine race participants were trooping muddily through the village earlier this week and the couple I spoke to who needed a supermarket,  are still going strong. Jens Wackerhagen and Gabriele Kenkenberg, hope you make it. We have just watched yesterday’s video clip and they were on it.

It is a very tough race but because I “pass by” Betty’s so often, I don’t think I will put my name down for next year.
