The Boathouse

A final day's walk. Along the cliffs and looking out to a largely empty sea which in summer would be teeming with birds. We did see fulmar and cormorant, before turning inland and past two small fishing lochs, partly frozen, but providing a temporary home to swans, coots, goldeneye, wigeon, teal, goosander and little grebes. Then over a hill, with a commanding view of the coast, to Coldingham and back via the small fishing village of St. Abbs. Perfect!
