Going Nowhere

We decided it was time we paid a visit to the Bridge To Nowhere, which has appeared on blip in the past but never from any camera of our own.
At high tide the bridge is surrounded by sea and has the appearance of an abandoned route, but at low tide a flagstone causeway comes into view giving access to the bridge and a crossing over the Biel Water to Belhaven Bay, as in extra 1, with view of the Bass Rock.

Extra 2 is a flock of ?ringed plovers feeding among the rocks - I count 13 in this shot - seen as we walked seaward to the east of the Biel. I think it would make a particularly challenging jigsaw puzzle.
