New Carls Hill

Denmark is not known for it's mountains, so the use of "berg" to describe this slight incline is stretching definitions, to say the least. But this is the hill the founder of the brewery named after his son, Carl. Carl went on to fall out with his father for decades and set up a rival "Carlsberg" here, right next door to his dad's brewery. So there was "Old" and "New" Carlsberg for a while. They made up in the last couple of years of the dad's life and Carl united the breweries after his death. I could go on, but that's enough for a Saturday.
