Couldn't resist buying these! There's something delightfully anarchic about them - they're never content to stay quite as you arranged them in the vase...

Down to Warkworth this afternoon with MrM - he'd arranged to pick up a mandolin from a musician with a view to repairing it. As we sat drinking tea with her and her partner, their cat made itself at home on my lap. It seems an awful long time since I enjoyed cat cuddles. 

Then in to Alnwick. No time for shopping in the town as intended, but we tackled the supermarket shop. Also bought some match pots - need to start thinking about colours for the living room walls. There's just too much choice...
