Hot Friday

Rundle Street, Adelaide.
35C in the city and 38C in Elizabeth on the way home. The weatherman got it right. We spent a couple of hours in the city, seething with shoppers. Then we had the usual couple of crazy drivers on the roads. Living in the countryside has reduced my ability to cope with city craziness. To retain my equilibrium I have to accept that the city is like that and go with the flow. Thats the only way and when I do that the craziness can even be enjoyable. I have to expect that someone will cut me off on the road and when it happens you just say to yourself "here we go again" and do what you have to do. So I (re)learnt some important lessons in patience.
